Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 12, 2026 · Last updated: May 16, 2026
SprintTrack (“SprintTrack,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our iOS mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account and onboarding data: email address, password (authentication is processed through Supabase), and onboarding inputs such as age, height and weight, training experience, current personal records, goal events, target meets, and appearance preferences (including light or dark theme).
- Photos and video: profile photos you choose from your photo library or camera, and short technique clips you upload for Film Room analysis.
- Training and performance data: workouts, schedules, goals, personal records, session completion, rating of perceived exertion (RPE), notes, race results, and similar content you choose to log.
- Nutrition-related inputs: phase-specific calorie and macro targets, meals, and related logs where those features are available.
- Subscription and purchase data: when you buy an auto-renewable subscription or a one-time in-app purchase (including lifetime access), payment is processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We use a subscription-management provider (RevenueCat) to validate purchases and manage entitlements; this involves a pseudonymous app user identifier and basic purchase, transaction, and device information.
- Communications: messages or feedback you send to us (for example, support emails).
Information collected automatically
- Device and log data: device type, operating system, app version, language, crash logs, and diagnostic data to keep the Services secure and reliable.
- Usage data: features used, interaction patterns, and timestamps, where enabled for product improvement.
Information from third parties
If you sign in with Apple or connect other third-party services, we may receive information from those providers as permitted by your settings and their policies (for example, a name or email associated with your Apple ID).
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, personalize, and improve the Services;
- Generate and refine training and nutrition plans tailored to your profile and training history;
- Validate subscriptions and manage premium entitlements (including Film Room);
- Create and maintain your account;
- Sync your data across devices where that functionality exists;
- Respond to support requests and communicate about updates or security;
- Monitor usage, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance;
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service;
- Protect the rights, safety, and security of users and SprintTrack.
AI features
To generate training and nutrition plans and to analyze technique videos in Film Room, we send relevant inputs to third-party AI providers that process this data on our behalf to return results. Depending on the feature, this may include profile data, training and nutrition inputs, and still frames extracted from clips you submit for Film Room (sent to Anthropic for form analysis). We also use OpenAI for certain embedding-related processing tied to plan generation. We do not use your content to train third-party models; our use of these providers is through standard API tiers that do not train on customer inputs.
3. Legal bases (where applicable)
If data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on appropriate bases including: performance of a contract (providing the Services), legitimate interests (security, analytics, product improvement), consent where required, and legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We may share information:
-
Service providers and subprocessors: we work with vendors that host data, provide infrastructure,
and help us operate the Services, bound by confidentiality and processing terms. Key providers include:
- Supabase — authentication, database hosting, and storage;
- Apple — Sign in with Apple (where enabled), App Store payments, and in-app purchases;
- RevenueCat — subscription validation and entitlement management;
- Anthropic — AI processing for training, nutrition, and Film Room form analysis;
- OpenAI — embedding-related processing for plan generation;
- customer support, email delivery, and analytics tools where enabled.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
- With your direction: when you ask us to share or connect integrations you approve.
We do not sell your personal information as that term is commonly defined under U.S. state privacy laws.
5. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and how you use the Services.
Film Room video: uploaded technique clips are automatically deleted after a limited retention period. Your written feedback, scores, and analysis results from Film Room are kept so you can review past coaching output.
6. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete certain personal information;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based;
- Export or receive a copy of your data in a portable format, where required;
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Account deletion: you can delete your account and associated data directly in the app (Profile → Delete Account), or by emailing support@sprinttrack.app.
To exercise other privacy rights, contact us at support@sprinttrack.app. We may need to verify your request.
8. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
9. International users
If you access the Services from outside the country where SprintTrack operates, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws. We use appropriate safeguards where required.
10. Third-party links and services
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or integrations. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies; we are not responsible for those practices.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as in-app or by email).
